Australia are the world champs, but they have lost three on the trot at home.
NewZealand got some good results, even if it was against some weak sides.
South Africa are trailing the Aussies in the ICC rankings by less than one point.
But for me India is the best side in the world, beating Australia 3 times in Australia is no mean feat.
What do u think, which is the best side in ODI cricket?

As much as it pains me
Australia, consistantly the best side for years, may lose the odd match here and there but when it matters they step up and win the big competitions

| I don't think 3 games changes anything. History has shown that Australia will come bouncing back. They will return and dominate as usual.

Australia are top of the rankings for a reason - they are the best team. Last year England beat them in the VB finals and then they lost 3 in a row against New Zealand to make it five consecutive losses. No one then suggested that New Zealand or England were the best sides in the world, and no one should suggest that India are now. Australia, more often than not, win when it really matters, which is why no-one has got close to them in recent world cups. I'm not an Australian fan - far from it - but the assertion that India are now the best ODI team, based on beating them in one competition, is prety ridiculous.

| India have now won the last 9 matches. Its getting close on top the ODI rankings. India are just one point behind the aussies. On current form, India and South Africa are the best teams.

there are a few threads saying how bolton will be relegated last season if you want to find them and say you're sure we'll be in the premiership this season

| Can't argue with that. But the England team are the best one day team in England though.

They may be the best for one day in a year.
On the remaining days they could easily make teams like West Indies seem invincible.
