Wow, superb signing IMO. I suggested we signed him when Watford went down. He is a solid defender. It will surely spell the end of Meite. Great rumour! Hope its true.

Yes he did a ridiculous challenge, but he is a good defender, very solid, would be excellent option with Cahill and O'Brien. I like Megson's signings.

I think he's solid but won't worry AOB and Cahill. Looks like Meite's on his way, which is good. Can't be any worse.

I agree, he had some excellent games when Watford were in the Premiership. Reminds me of Faye.
Watford seem to be losing all their players.

Just checked back and it wasn't Tylswhite who broke news of Allardyce and the consortium on WW. Don't know if it was mentioned on here but you can't guarantee it's the same person.

Just spoken to a Watford fan I know - he's absolutely gutted!!!! Really gutted! Good with his head - scores a few from corners. Man mountain. Best player when they were in the Prem th other year.

| Its not an exciting signing but then who ever got excited about a centre back? Ok, so Cahill was different. Not a hugely significant signing for us, but one that will give us valuable cover and one that in the long term, may make us a few bucks.

He is a really good defender, superb in the air, extremely strong and is quick. Am not surprised your Watford mate is gutted. I think he will turn out to be a superb signing at £2m. I just hope its true, it will make our defence look far stronger.
