Why, we have Elmander, who gets no support, we have Smolarek who scores regulary with Poland who cannot even get off the bench.

Nugent will be a flicking waste of money, why buy any one? Not like he is going to stop playing hacks like McCann who offer nothing in the way of going forward and if you do you get dropped ie Gardner.

mayaswell lock this thread, by the time January rolls around we will be cut adrift in the bottom 3 and lego will be talking up the 2k kfc bargain bucket signing of giften noel Williams, and taking a punt on that fat scouser with w*nk hair that used to play for Swansea.

This was in the Walsall Evening News

'Gary Megson is rumoured to be interested in a sensational return to the Reebok for Michael Ricketts. He has reportedly sent a scout to assess his fitness ahead of this weekend's games with a view to a January swoop. A source is quoted as saying he would be ideal for Bolton's fight to get back where they belong after a difficult season.'

Could believe it when I read it.

so are our players...

he'd fit in well. Not that Stoke would sell to a relegation rival.

Well let me put it this way.......

If he's playing for Swansea, he's unlikely to be that good.

If he's being talked of as a target for Bolton......then he's unlikely to be that good! ;)

Gary Megson is steering Bolton into the pits. He wants a couple of new tyres, a nodding dog, a splash of unleaded and Chelsea's Jack Cork to plug their leaky defence.

Fromt the Guardian - never heard of him

Apparently Alan Cork's son - explains the recommendation and interest.  Back to Colin and Andy Todd days.  Wonder if he throws a good punch?

Eh. Leaky defence???

Im sure weve had a quite a few clean sheets this season already. Just the other end we need to sort out. Or have I been watching a different team?

It sometimes feels like that.

Good decision by Meggo, so that Hunt can play a bit of first team football.
