Boro and Newcastle still have to play each other so that means one of them two are not going to get maximum points, so one of them can't overtake us.
With Hull, Sunderland and Man City left, we must get a point from one of them games! I think we're safe now, I can't see us going down. Newcastle and Boro still have to play AV. If Newcastle lose to Liverpool, AV can keep us safe with a win or draw against both teams. We still have two very winnable games at home coming up and hopefully a meaningless game against Man City to finish up.

Just watched the replay of the game with my DVR... and Matty Taylor was not offside.
The official did not see Mido on the far side level with him. A very bad decision which cost us 2 points today. I watched the play 3 times (twice more than the poor linesman who will be mortified to see the replay) and the goal should have counted. Even the announcers admitted Taylor was level with Mido.

No......I'll be happy for Brown if Hull stay up, but I don't want us to roll over for them. If we were fighting for our lives, how would you view a team rolling over so we'd go down?

Rugby ran long and as a result my DVR missed recording the match (thanks Setanta) so I was pretty pissed. Saw the highlights on MOTD and pondered the small blessings
In all seriousness, very happy with a point. And Jussi is a legend. I thought by the way he hobbled off that we would be seeing Ali, but he continued and made some unreal saves (especially that one from Mido).

info;
went to Wigan;congrats to the "fans"who saw fit to dismantle an advertising board and throw it into the crowd of wanderers fans causing numerous injuries.
Too many drunken pimply ICF wannabees who can't take their Eurofizz.
Its bad enough having to watch Mcann muamba and elmander without having this heaped on you.
brains out to the wanderers

I am always going on about the behaviour of bolton fans at away matches and have rung the club with no satisfaction. Sick to death of people standing in front of children and getting abusive when asked politely to sit, Beer fights, Absolute brain numb baying at away fans after arriving late and hardly a glance at the pitch.
Its not a family day out anymore...

Football has become much more family-orientated over the past decade or so. If anything, we're some of the best behaved supporters in the league in my opinion. If you look at teams that come to the Reebok, the majority of them stand. Man United, Villa and Newcastle, Everton, the whole tier was stood up. Our supporters usually sit down at away games.
I'm not condoning any behaviour from idiots throwing advertising boards but it drives me mad when you're trying to get a bit of atmosphere and support going in the ground and you get told to sit down and be quiet. If you want that, go to the theatre or a library.

| nothing wrong in chanting & trying to create a positive atmosphere for the players, but to sound off to entice trouble & put inacent supporters at risk is bang out of line.

its a better statement than suggesting i pay upwards of £15 each for my children and our own supporters shouldnt care if they can see. Simple manners.
I shout and sing plenty. Funny i can vocally support sat down and stood up, when ignorant blokes can't.

Take a box.
I have no time for the chavvy teenagers who've drunk 8 cans and become hostile to fellow supporters around them, they are generally the ones who start the he-who-shall-not-be-named out chants and I can guess, they were the ones responsible for the incident at Wigan. They have been increasing in numbers and have watched Green Street one too many times.
But anyone who is there to support their team, as long as they are reasonably considerate and respectful, can stand as much as they want in my opinion.

I think, that people who want to stand during matches, should ask for far back seats, or move into the higher seats, to free spaces. And vice-versa, the first 5 rows were virtually empty against Wigan.
I didn't see the incident, being further down, but sad two men being shepherded out of the ground injured, although one returned with an ice pack on his head, and got a righteous small aplaud on his way back to his seat.

When I go to an away match where we haven't sold out I do tend to move to stay out of people's ways. There is also no point asking for specific seats because they don't give them you, or else I would be on the back row at every match!
