Agree with that.SKD has been a legend for us, but sadly he has seen his best days, and i don't think he will fit with OC's vision of how we should play, or most fans come to that.
Klasnic is not the answer either, too immobile and workshy for me, although a good finisher. We need pace, and have done for a long while now.
The new loan signings will give us an indication of their capabilities between now and May, and whether they will be worth breaking the bank for.I am certainly looking forward to seeing them all being given a chance, and not just from the bench either.

I'm just not sure we'll be building a team (or even a defence) around Cahill come the summer.
If we get offered £15m (as an example), OC may see that as a large part of his funding of a squad re-build - along with the relative loose change for the other players who need to be released/sold, and whetever money (£5m ?) that ED will sanction.

Cahill has some building to do for himself, because he hasn't looked like the England prospect he once was, for a while now.

hmmm Cahill doesn't look like he could play for Chelsea or anything but he is a class above the rest of our defenders.
he could easily command a place at Villa or Everton or another team way above us in class.
He's had a couple of bad games this season granted but its not like his form is shot or anything.

| The trouble is, he's had to have an eye open to see where the rest of the defenders are instead of being able to concentrate on his own game. He's looked better since Knight has improved after OC's arrival.

Dunno about this - sounds a bit premature...
Also attracting United's interest is Bolton midfielder Mark Davies - although they face a battle with Liverpool for the 21-year-old.

Paper talk. Maybe one day, but i don't see the big teams taking an interest just yet.

On-loan Bolton striker Ivan Klasnic has reportedly told his French club Nantes that he wants to move back to Germany next season.
The 30-year-old Croatian has been a big hit with the Wanderers' faithful this season, scoring six Premier League goals, and many hoped that Owen Coyle would have tried to extend the agreement with Nantes for another campaign.
However, Klasnic - who was born in Hamburg in Germany - wants to go back to the city of his birth and finish his career playing for his first club St Pauli.

Could the injury to Ramsey, make Wenger recall young Wilshere back.
