Is Jackanory still on Kids TV ???
This is a good one from the NoTW
DARIUS VASSELL hopes Bolton will end his Turkish nightmare in January.
The former Manchester City striker's summer switch to Ankaragucu took a lot of people by surprise.
But the move has since turned sour as he was turfed out of his temporary accommodation this week because his cash-strapped club couldn't afford to pay the bill.
It has left the 29-year-old in limbo and he is now seeking a move to Bolton.
Vassell, who will be available for around £2million, has attracted interest from West Brom but his links with Aston Villa and desire for Premier League football is likely to lead him to the Reebok.
Bolton boss Gary Megson has yet to firm up his interest but with doubts over Johan Elmander's long-term future, he is likely to offer Vassell a deal in January.
A source close to the player said: "Darius is not too sure about his future in Turkey now. He is looking at all of his options and would consider moving to Bolton."

Rubbish.
Anyway we have a perfectly good striker on the bench in Klanic who never gets a game.
Another one of Megsons masterstrokes.

Reckon he should stay where he is. Well away from Bolton.
Still I expect to see BSA, do a bit of sniffing, as a possible replacement for Bennie. M.

Nice to see that we are all taking this transfer serious.
Although "Klasi and Vassi", does have a nice ring to it...

before Vassell left City, i recall countless City fans on radio phone ins saying he was utterly clueless in every aspect of his game
so, i can see why he's on smeggo's radar

According to Frankies Favourite "The Sun"
Bolton are lining up a £250,000 bid for Laslo Lencse a 21 year old Hungary Striker who plays for MTK, and has scored 9 Goals in 12 games.
Don't know anything about him, but wouldn't mind us putting a bid in for Southampter Striker Ricky Lambert, who I have seen a couple of times, and has scored 10 goals in 14 games.
A Big strong lad who is 27 years old, who wins everything in the air, has a sweet strike, and although a striker, who tends to favour the left. An ideal partner for SKD, who favours the right.
Okay, he has never played in top flight football, but seems to be coming to his peak. After all SKD, was only playing for Chesterfield, when he scored 3 against us. IMO, he has a lot of potential.

Suspect this may just be an agent trying to drum up some interest in one of his players but we have been linked (according to the sun – not the most reliable source of transfer news in the world I know) with a move for a Hungarian striker called Laszlo Lencse for £250,000, sounds quite good on Google, don’t know much about him, has anyone actually heard anything about him?
Im always a little suspect when it comes to cheap players from obscure leagues but then I look at players like jussi and Tamir Cohen and then think he may be worth a gamble.
Can’t be as bad as rasiak was and his loan probably cost us more than that!

just found this on imscouting.com....
Laszlo Lencse has been one of the revelations of the 2009/2010 season. He is only 21-years-old but has already established himself as a starter for Hungarian giants MTK and is one of the most prolific strikers in the league.
Similar to Under-20 World Cup star and former MTK team mate Krisztian Nemeth, Lencse is also from Gyor and learnt the basics of soccer at local club ETO. At age 16 he joined MTK's Sandor Academy in Agard which is the top soccer academy in the country.
Lencse played the next season in the corresponding Under-19 championships, as an 18-year old he was the top scorer of the Under-19 league. After selling Adam Hrepka, MTK called up the youngster to the first team and he played three games as a substitute in the championship winning team of 2007/2008.
During the following season Lencse began to show his quality with an extended run in the first team and at the start of 2009/2010 he has exploded. In 12 games this season he has scored nine goals and also chipped in with two assists.
Regardless of his young age he was able to adapt to the pace of the first division as well as the expectations and pressure. When given space he is lethal.
He is strong physically, has very high technique, and accurate shots and headers and is also capable of scoring a number of spectacular goals. He also has amazing finishing skills, as most of the chances he receives end up with the ball in the net.
Lencse is able to receive long balls, control them, but often unable to withstand the defender’s pressure behind him. To his credit often two or three defenders attack him with not much help from his team mates.
In addition, Lencse is pretty good defensively, often attacks defenders when they have the ball trying to force an error which could lead to an opportunity.
As MTK are heavily reliant on selling players to sustain themselves, it will be no surprise to see Lencse move abroad next summer.
His contract with the club runs out at the end of season 2010/2011 and he could be a real find for a mid-level club in a major European league at a cost of no more than 250,000 euros.
....lets sign him now!

Probably right. From Sky Sports :-
MTK Budapest FC have played down talk linking Bolton with a move for striker Laszlo Lencse.
Reports have suggested Bolton were weighing up a move for the highly-rated 21-year-old when the transfer window reopens.
Lencse has caught the eye at MTK, scoring nine goals so far this season and a number of clubs are understood to be keeping tabs on the player.
MTK director Laszlo Domonyai has denied the rumours that Bolton have made an approach for Lencse.
"The interest is unrealistic and not true," Domonyai told origo.hu.
Liverpool are also reported to be tracking Lencse with the two clubs enjoying a good relationship because of other deals between the pair in the past.
