From the BBC:

Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson tells BBC Radio Sheffield they threw away the three points in the 2-1 defeat to Bury and he fears for their 'relegation form'.

Don't worry, people within football know he's the right man for the job.

Laughed a lot after their first 7 minutes at Ewood this week!

On a separate matter Sky are reporting SW spent the most on agents' fees of all the League 1 teams last season. Bearing in mind the supposed issue of dual representation when we appointed their current manager at our club, isn't this a matter for Panorama?

Did anyone else laugh as much as me when they saw Megson's team 5 down at Stevenage.

I always laugh when Megson loses. As a rule, I don't do it when our ex-managers lose. I normally don't care. But Megson was such a sore loser and so detached from the reality of his time at Bolton, that I don't like to see him succeed. That makes me look bad, I know.....but I don't really care where Megson is concerned. If he is as good as he thinks he is, I'll wait for him to propel Wednesday into the big time. If he does, I guess I'll have to eat my words.

You could be eating your words Billy and mego having the last laugh. He looks as though he has Wednesday sorted and the footballing gods are smiling on him, whilst we are looking as though we will be meeting him in the championship.

I read at the weekend, that the Sheffield Wednesday board had been reported to the F.A. by Megson. He claims that they are talking to managers and trying to bring in a replacement behind his back.

If they are doing this, it means his days are numbered. If they are NOT doing this, then him reporting them means his days are numbered.

It couldn't have happened to a nicer man. It just highlights what the man is actually like IMO.

The frightening thing is, looking at his picture on the BBC website, I seem to be looking ever more like him as I get older

(No anti-ginger comments please)

You are not wrong there. Can't understand the sackings of Lee Clark, Simon Grayson and Megson. Nobody should be sacked when their team is doing well, and as much as I didn't like Megson when he was here, SW are doing well still. The Huddersfield one was the most surprising to me though.

Writing was on the wall, they had started to play negatively and his aim was to get a 1-0 shoring up the defence as soon as they got ahead. Earlier in the season he had been backing his lads to win, then he started to doubt them and surprise surprise they hit a losing streak..

...and he sealed his fate by reporting his own club to the FA. Only an idiot like Megson would do that WHEN HE'S STILL WORKING FOR THEM!! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Michael Vaughan wrote a piece in the Mail I think it was last week before the derby bemoaning the fact that they had become one dimensional, defensive and boring - sound familiar?

Not sure it was a view held universally though ......... yet!

I hope they do go up though - always preferred them to United
