Apparently the FA have told Joey Barton not to tweet his predictions about RESULTS of matches.

This comes after Barton predicted that both Manchester clubs would win their games this weekend.

According to the FA, Barton could have INSIDER INFORMATION about the outcome!

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Sweet FA! Do they not have anything better to be doing, really?

What a ridiculous organisation they continue to prove to be.

As long as he isn't predicting the results of his own games, I don't see the problem. If he predicted a 1-0 loss for his team and in the 90th minute, didn't make a crucial takle that led to a goal.....it could potential raise an issue. But games he's not playing in??

Well that's it. He probably is stupid enough to do something like that to be fair, but games he has no connection with at all?

From what we get to see, the FA are such a terrible organisation.

What the FA fail to realise is that there are only 3 outcomes (not including external factors e.g weather)in matches so to say its 'insider information' is nonsense. Plus if Fergie says in his press conference that he thinks City will win how is that any different???

Too many armchair people thinking its still the 70s and 80s at the FA.

i can see where they are coming from! they are warning him that any irregular betting patterns going on could perhaps point back to him. innocent or not, he would still be accused which is pretty serious as we all know with the cricket saga that went on!

Two wrongs don't make a right, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over this. I'm just surprised it's only happened now.

History has shown that he is so stupid that he doesn't know better. A complete and utter knobhead and whay any team would want to take him on is beyond me?

He seems to think he's some kind of poetic Vinnie Jones, i'd love them locked in a room together.

What a load of nonsense!! Of course it's an abuse of the disciplinary process. There's only one reason they are considering loaning Barton out.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18971248

FA rules allow the Loftus Road club to apply for Barton to serve the ban with another club.

QPR are considering all options with regards to the midfielder going out on loan.

Barton will begin training with League Two Fleetwood Town this week as QPR are on a pre-season tour of Malaysia.

The FA would consider any application to transfer the ban, but do have the power to reject it if they feel it as an abuse of the disciplinary process.

Quite..

But too my eternal shame I did laugh on reading the comment...

Stand-a-lone it is general banter between mates; when you publish this via your account then it is a little more sinister, this is the bit that that pillock does not get...

If someone said that to me on the pitch (many years ago) I would have found it hysterical, in the dressing room yep that is banter. Used to offend as in this case it does the job.

Some bloke once screamed at me "Naarven Slaagg!!!" which I took to mean I was both Northern and a little less than choosy over my partners. I did find it very funny at the time and still now it make me chuckle..

It is disappointing to know that 'Mods' here watch The Murdoch owed (49%) phone tapping (murdered schoolgirl), fan blaming (Hillsborough) news channel Sky.

For gods sake wake-up you are being brain washed.

Further to my last effort.

Obviously 'Sky news' did not use the messages from  Minnie's phone or critises the Liverpool fans but the ones behind it all are the same people.

Her name was Milly not Minnie..

But you are right Murdoch and his empire are a blight on the World.

But Kelvin McKenzie was the one who stirred up the blame against the Liverpool fans and that man is scum.
