Come 3pm tomorrow, I’ll be on pins. Was reading that Sunderland haven’t scored in their last four games and are 3 key players missing too. I think we’ll be fine as long as the guys keep their nerve and am still confident of a win......even if it’s a smash and grab!

We could get away with as little as 36 points and survive depending on other results. My best guess is we’ll need 38 points. I think QPR will only win one of their remaining games so they’ll max out on 37. One more win, two draws ( or two wins ) and I think we’re home and dry.

On another slant Villa might go down. Given their current form, coupled with their results of late and it doesn’t make good reading for them on the balance. Just reading their message boards I strongly suggests their fans have zero confidence in where their next win will come from and many are convinced they’re going to be relegated.

Well I hope your right about 37 points but this is Bolton and I think it will be more like 40 points. You're right about Villa they've fallen into the zone very late in the season with little time to battle through it, whereas the others have been fighting relegation all season.

For me today is everything. I think Villa will only go down if we win today and they lose at West Brom. At this stage of the season and being in the relegation zone its easier to pick up points away from home. We really do need to capitalise today.

A draw to day could still keep us up but I don't think Villa would go down in that scenario, also we'd still be in the bottom three on goal difference, so psychologically teams would have the upper hand, particularly QPR and Wigan as they would be able to relax.

Off to The Memorial Ground today for the good of my health.

Bristol Rovers V Accrington Stanley.

At least the quality of football won't be too different.

Do you go to both Bristol grounds or just Rovers?

Hope we stay up as Bristol (both Rovers and City) has always been one of Boltons bogey grounds.

I live closer to Rovers and even used to live within a couple of hundred yards of the ground so tend to go there more often. I have been to Ashton Gate once or twice though.

Not a massive fan of Boyata but he wasn't the only one who had a nightmare at the start of the season. Has looked okay since and owes us a performance. Be positive guys. As long as we don't concede in the first 15 minutes we're in with a fighting chance.

Assuming that Steinsson is out injured.  In a game like this, then think Steinsson, is the battler we needed, if nothing else.

The selection, is probably what I would have gone for, apart from Boyatta, although at times, he is capable of producing some good quality passes and creating a goal.

I'm a fan of Alonso on his day. However, he's been dreadful of late. When your fighting for your lives you can't be playing a guy whose been all over the place recently.
