Just been on Sky Sports News.
Apparently he tore his anterior cruciate ligament in the game against the Baggies.

Hope Wheater makes a good recovery. Zatyiah will ensure we go down. Just hope the injury to Wheater doesn't mean he gets a new contract.

Was just going to start typing the same thing about being "Cursed"...
Probably why we have won more away games...

I was hoping that he never played for us again. Maybe we can put a Burtons dummy wearing BWFC kit at CB. Would be as useful.

Must disagree with you adlyd on this,
Young Riley, doesn't have the experience that we need against Stoke, in a game that our survival depends on. Steinsson is the battler, plus he has had the experience in relegation battles.
Whatever anyone thinks of Steinsson, in this kind of situation, he is the only man we have capable of doing a decent job....

Yeah I know that BDI but steins son will be out I think so put Riley in. May be our lucky charm versus Stoke. Debut in 5-0 win?
Also, do not know if Etherington and Pennant are playing so again might be a good option.
I have been told Sean Davies is fit and has been for some time. I would put him in next to NRC with M Davies in front of them.
Gutted about Wheater. Get well soon

Is Steinsson fit? If so Steinsson, Boyata, Ream, Ricketts at the back. But it will be Zatyiah. And he will make a howler. And it will condemn us.
I hope I am way wrong and that he plays a blinder.

Steinsson out till Sunday 13th with hip/thigh injury????

Unlikely he will be fit then. All depending on Zatyiah then.

Well after picking my team in the "Decision Day" Thread, now know the problems that OC has to go through.
Might be worth moving Ricketts to Right Back, Boyatta and Ream in the centre and Alonso at Left Back, although think that Knight might get the nod.

Well another one is move Ricketts to centre back (use to have a good partnership with knight when Cahill was injured) and bring in Alonso.
Ohand there goes you're promotion back to the premiership (assuming we go down on Sunday).Last edited on Tue May 8th, 2012 07:12 am by Greeny2

Agreed Ricketts at Centre back and give Alonso another go (If fit)
Never known a saeson like this for injuries, makes the smallest squad in the division a little more difficult to manage...
