News of the screws is saying that we are hooking up with Juve to give some of their reservists a run out.
Says we beat Muddlesborough and Pompey to the deal.
Zalayeta, Miccoli and Kovac could be the first ones on their way.
If its not bollox I think its a stunning coup by Phil and Sam.

If it isn't then I'll eat my hat, but yes, it would be good!

| Robert Kovac I like a lot, but whether his style will suit the Premiership I don't know?

| Miccoli is a decent enough player, plus didn't we go after Zalayeta not that long ago before we got young Anelka?

Read the article myself about Juve loaning us players, and questioned myself could they alsow want us to loan out the likes of Anelka and Dioufy. Teams usually want something in return, and I can't see it being all oneway from Juve to Bolton.

(After 61 years, you either have Bolton inside you, or you start supporting another Team)... Since I haven't started supporting another Team, tells my side of the story).

What they will want in return is for some of their fringe players to be getting match practice (although, I think that is unlikely) and for their wages to be being paid. They can't and won't expect us to loan them any of our first team regulars.

A few years ago there was a big effort between Bolton and Juventus to establish a long term relationship, Juventus are surprisingly bad at marketing themselves and wanted to lean on the Bolton experience in this area. The spin off for Bolton was that we would be able to pick up some of their talent, the killer for the deal was that Juve expected players loaned would be auto-select Sam would never go along with that type of deal.
We have looked at Zalayeta in the past, and still a decent player.
Could be a good deal suspect Sam will be interested in Miccoli and Kovac and the kids that they have coming through..

I think we should be loaning out our fringe players to them

| surely a link up like this would only be a good thing? although it depends on what type of link up it is. their european experience would be useful to us wouldn't it? i would guess that the exchange of players (both ways) would just be an added bonus.
